Let her know that everything is going to be okay. Here are some additional tips for helping a baby who has been injured: Keep the baby calm and still. Do not move the baby unless it is absolutely necessary. Call 911 or your local emergency number if the baby's injuries are serious. If the baby is not breathing, start CPR immediately. If the baby has a head injury, do not give her anything to eat or drink. If the baby has a bleeding wound, apply pressure to the wound to stop the bleeding.
