The young boy loved to dress up in dark colors. He would wear black shirts, pants, and shoes. He would also wear dark-colored hats and scarves. He loved the way the dark colors made him feel mysterious and powerful. One day, the young boy was walking through the park when he saw a group of older boys playing basketball. The boys were all wearing bright, colorful clothes. The young boy felt out of place in his dark colors. He wanted to join in on the fun, but he was afraid that the older boys would make fun of him for wearing dark colors. The young boy walked over to the group of boys and stood on the sidelines. The boys stopped playing and looked at him. "What are you wearing?" one of the boys asked. "I'm wearing my favorite colors," the young boy said. "Those are dark colors," the boy said. "They're not cool." The young boy felt his heart sink. He was about to turn and walk away when one of the other boys spoke up. "I think his dark colors are cool," the boy said. "They make him look mysterious." The other boys agreed. They started talking about how cool the young boy's dark colors were. The young boy smiled. He was glad that he had decided to wear his dark colors. He knew that they made him look cool. The young boy joined in on the fun and played basketball with the older boys. He had a great time. He realized that it didn't matter what colors he wore. What mattered was that he had fun.
