Escape the Children

Game description:

You're stranded in a cabin in the woods, and you're not alone. There are children here, but they're not like any children you've ever seen before. They're pale and thin, with dark circles under their eyes. Their eyes are black, and they seem to glow in the darkness. You know that these children are dangerous. You've heard the stories about them. They're said to be possessed by demons, and they're said to kill anyone who gets in their way. You need to get out of here, but you don't know how. You're trapped inside the cabin, and the doors are locked. You can't find your keys. You look around the cabin, searching for anything that can help you escape. You find a hammer, and you use it to break down the door. You run outside, into the woods. The children are chasing you. You can hear them laughing, and you can hear them chanting. You know that you have to get away from them, but you don't know where to go. You run through the woods, branches and brambles scratching at your skin. You trip and fall, but you get back up and keep running. You see a light in the distance. It's a house! You run towards it, hoping that you can find safety inside. You reach the house and pound on the door. A man opens the door, and you fall inside. You're safe. The man closes the door behind you, and you look around. You're in a small living room. There's a fire burning in the fireplace, and a couch in front of it. You sit down on the couch, exhausted. The man sits down next to you. "Are you okay?" he asks. You nod. "I'm just glad I'm safe," you say. The man smiles. "I'm glad I could help," he says. "Now, tell me what happened." You tell the man about the cabin in the woods, and the children who were chasing you. The man listens intently, and when you're finished, he says, "I've heard stories about those children. They're said to be the children of the devil. They're said to be very dangerous." You shiver. "I'm glad I got away from them," you say. The man nods. "You're lucky," he says. "Most people don't make it out alive." You think about the children, and you wonder what would have happened if you hadn't gotten away. You shudder, and you're glad that you're safe.
