Little Red Riding Hood
Once upon a time, there was a little girl who lived in a village on the edge of a dark forest. Her name was Little Red Riding Hood. One day, her mother asked her to take a basket of food to her grandmother, who lived on the other side of the forest.
Little Red Riding Hood set off into the forest. As she walked, she sang a song to herself. She was so happy to be helping her grandmother.
Suddenly, Little Red Riding Hood heard a noise. She stopped and looked around. She saw a big, black wolf standing behind a tree.
"Hello, little girl," said the wolf. "Where are you going?"
"I'm going to see my grandmother," said Little Red Riding Hood.
"That's a long way to walk all by yourself," said the wolf. "Why don't I come with you? I can protect you from the dangers of the forest."
Little Red Riding Hood was a little scared, but she didn't want to be rude. So she agreed to let the wolf walk with her.
The wolf and Little Red Riding Hood walked through the forest together. The wolf told Little Red Riding Hood stories about the animals that lived in the forest. Little Red Riding Hood listened to the wolf's stories and laughed at his jokes.
Soon, they came to the cottage where Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother lived. The wolf knocked on the door.
"Who's there?" called a voice from inside.
"It's me, Little Red Riding Hood," said the wolf.
"Come in, my dear," said the voice.
The wolf opened the door and went inside. Little Red Riding Hood followed him.
The wolf went into the bedroom and saw Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother lying in bed. She was very sick.
"Grandmother, I've brought you some food," said Little Red Riding Hood.
"That's very kind of you, my dear," said the wolf. "I'm so hungry."
The wolf ate all of the food that Little Red Riding Hood had brought. Then he lay down in the bed and pretended to be Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother.
Little Red Riding Hood was very tired. She said goodbye to the wolf and went to sleep in a chair by the fire.
Later that night, Little Red Riding Hood's real grandmother woke up. She went to the kitchen to get a drink of water. When she saw the wolf lying in her bed, she screamed.
"Help! Help! There's a wolf in my bed!"
The villagers came running. They chased the wolf away and saved Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother.
Little Red Riding Hood was very sorry for what she had done. She promised her grandmother that she would never talk to strangers again.
The End.
