How to Make a Homemade Taco Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained 1 (15 ounce) can corn, drained 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained 1 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 8 corn tortillas 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup chopped lettuce 1/2 cup sour cream 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes 1/4 cup chopped green onions Instructions: 1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper. Drain any excess fat. 2. Stir in the black beans, corn, tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender. 3. Warm the tortillas in a microwave or on a griddle. 4. Fill each tortilla with some of the taco meat, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes, and green onions. 5. Fold the tortillas and serve immediately.
