How to Make Penne with Prawns
Penne with prawns is a classic Italian dish that is simple to make and delicious. This recipe is inspired by the classic version, but you can use your own ingredients and cooking methods to create a dish that is perfect for you.
Ingredients
1 pound penne pasta
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne according to the package directions.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until pink and opaque.
4. Add the white wine to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, or until reduced by half.
5. Add the chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
6. Add the parsley to the skillet and season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Drain the penne and add it to the skillet with the shrimp and sauce. Toss to combine.
8. Serve immediately.
