"One would think that a tank driver would need a brain to operate such a complex machine. However, some people would argue that all a tank driver needs is the ability to follow orders. This is a dangerous misconception. Tank drivers need to be able to think on their feet and make quick decisions in order to survive on the battlefield. A tank driver who is not thinking will quickly become a liability to their team." Another way to say this is: "Tank drivers need to be more than just meat in a metal box. They need to be able to think strategically and make decisions that will keep their crew and their tank safe."
