Materials Fabric (any color or pattern) Polyester filling Sewing thread Scissors Fabric marker Needle Safety eyes Optional: ribbon, buttons, or other embellishments Instructions 1. Cut out two pieces of fabric in the following shapes: Head: 10 inches wide by 12 inches tall Body: 12 inches wide by 16 inches tall Arms (2): 6 inches wide by 10 inches long Legs (2): 6 inches wide by 12 inches long 2. Sew the head pieces together along the top and side edges, leaving the bottom edge open. Turn the head right side out and stuff it with polyester filling. 3. Sew the body pieces together along the top and side edges, leaving the bottom edge open. Turn the body right side out and stuff it with polyester filling. 4. Sew the arms and legs together along the long edges. Turn the arms and legs right side out and stuff them with polyester filling. 5. Sew the head and body together at the neck. Sew the arms and legs to the body. 6. Add safety eyes to the head. (You can also add a nose and mouth, if desired.) 7. Add ribbon, buttons, or other embellishments, if desired. 8. Your teddy bear is finished!
