The Forgotten City: Thief's Tale

The year is 2063. The city has been almost totally destroyed by a nuclear explosion. The people have had to leave the city ruins, and the age of marauders has begun. A brave thief named Jack is determined to find something useful in the ruins of the city. He knows that it will be dangerous, but he is willing to risk his life for the chance to find something valuable. Jack sets out on his journey through the ruins. He is armed with only a knife and a flashlight. He knows that he is in danger, but he is determined to find what he is looking for. Jack walks for hours, searching through the rubble of the city. He finds nothing but broken glass and twisted metal. He is about to give up when he sees something in the distance. It is a small, metallic object. Jack cautiously approaches it and picks it up. He turns it over in his hands and sees that it is a key. Jack does not know what the key opens, but he knows that it is important. He puts it in his pocket and continues on his journey. Jack walks for several more hours. He is exhausted and hungry, but he is not giving up. He knows that he is close to finding what he is looking for. Finally, Jack comes to a large building. He cautiously approaches the building and looks inside. He sees that it is a library. Jack enters the library and begins to look for the key. He knows that it must open something in the library. He searches for hours, but he cannot find the keyhole. Just when Jack is about to give up, he sees something out of the corner of his eye. It is a small, metallic box on a shelf. Jack walks over to the box and picks it up. He turns it over in his hands and sees that it has a keyhole. Jack puts the key in the keyhole and turns it. The box opens, and Jack sees that it is full of gold coins. Jack smiles. He has found what he was looking for. He puts the gold coins in his pocket and leaves the library. Jack walks out of the city and into the wilderness. He knows that he will be safe now. He has the gold he needs to start a new life.
