You are trapped You wake up in a dark room. You are disoriented and confused. You try to move, but you are bound to a chair. You look around and see that you are in a small, windowless room. There is no furniture other than the chair you are sitting in. There is a single lightbulb hanging from the ceiling. You start to panic. You try to scream, but no sound comes out. You are trapped. You take a deep breath and try to calm down. You need to think clearly. You need to find a way to escape. You look around the room again. There is nothing you can use to break the chair or the ropes that bind you. You are starting to lose hope. Suddenly, you hear a noise. It is a faint scratching sound. It is coming from the other side of the wall. You lean forward and listen carefully. The scratching sound gets louder. You can hear something moving around. You are filled with hope. There is someone else in the room with you. Maybe they can help you escape. You start to call out for help. "Hello?" you shout. "Is anyone there?" The scratching sound stops. You hold your breath and wait. "Hello?" you call out again. There is a long silence. Then, you hear a voice. "Over here," the voice says. You look up and see a small, dark figure in the corner of the room. "Who are you?" you ask. "I am a mouse," the figure says. "A mouse?" you say. "What are you doing here?" "I am here to help you escape," the mouse says. You laugh. "How are you going to do that?" you ask. "I am going to chew through your ropes," the mouse says. You look at the mouse in disbelief. "You can't be serious," you say. "I am serious," the mouse says. "I am very good at chewing through ropes." You don't know what to say. You have never met a talking mouse before. But you are desperate, so you decide to trust him. The mouse scurries over to the ropes that bind you. He starts to chew on them. You watch in amazement as the ropes slowly start to come apart. After a few minutes, the ropes are gone. You are free. You stand up and stretch. You thank the mouse for helping you escape. "You're welcome," the mouse says. "Now, go and live your life to the fullest." You smile and walk out of the room. You are finally free.
