"The more you have, the more you want." This is a common saying that has been around for centuries. It is often used to describe the human tendency to be insatiable and always wanting more. No matter how much we have, it seems like we can never quite get enough. There are a number of reasons why this might be the case. One possibility is that we are constantly comparing ourselves to others and feeling like we need to keep up with the Joneses. Another possibility is that we are simply wired to seek out pleasure and avoid pain, and more stuff often means more pleasure. Whatever the reason, the saying "the more you have, the more you want" is a reminder that it is important to be content with what we have and to avoid the temptation to always want more.
