The objective is to win the best of seven ends. In curling, an end is a complete cycle of play, consisting of all four players throwing two stones each. The team that scores the most points in an end is the winner of that end. The game is played over eight ends, and the team that wins the most ends is the overall winner. There are a number of ways to score points in curling. The most common way is to have your stones closer to the center of the house than your opponent's stones. You can also score points by removing your opponent's stones from the house, or by knocking your opponent's stones out of play.
