Buffalo Chicken Calzone This mouthwatering calzone is filled with buffalo chicken, cheese, and ranch dressing. It's perfect for parties or any family gathering. Ingredients 1 cup warm water (105-115 degrees F) 2 teaspoons sugar 2 teaspoons active dry yeast 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for greasing the bowl 1 teaspoon salt 3 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup ranch dressing 2 cups cooked shredded chicken 1/2 cup buffalo sauce Instructions 1. In a small bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let stand for 5 minutes, until the yeast is foamy. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, salt, and 3 cups of flour. Add the yeast mixture and stir until a dough forms. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic. 3. Grease a large bowl with olive oil. Place the dough in the bowl and turn to coat in the oil. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size. 4. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. 5. Punch down the dough and divide it in half. Roll out each half into a 12-inch circle. Spread the mozzarella cheese over one half of each circle. Top with the ranch dressing, chicken, and buffalo sauce. Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and crimp the edges to seal. 6. Place the calzones on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
