Cinderella is a young woman who lives with her cruel stepmother and two stepsisters. One day, she is invited to a ball by the prince. She does not have a dress to wear, so her friends the birds and mice help her make one. She looks beautiful in her new dress and goes to the ball. The prince is immediately smitten with her and they dance all night long. At the end of the night, Cinderella runs away before the clock strikes midnight. The next day, the prince goes from house to house, looking for the woman who fits the glass slipper that he found at the ball. When he arrives at Cinderella's house, her stepmother and stepsisters try to hide her, but the prince finds her and they live happily ever after.
