Dip the chicken pieces into the buttermilk mixture, then coat them in the flour mixture. 5. Shake off any excess flour. 6. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350 degrees F. 7. Fry the chicken pieces in batches for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. 8. Drain the chicken pieces on paper towels. 9. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
