Dogfight over the skies The enemy aircrafts loomed in the distance, their guns blazing. The pilot of the fighter jet banked hard, narrowly avoiding a collision. He scanned the sky for an opening, but the enemy was everywhere. He took a deep breath and pushed the throttle forward. The jet surged forward, its engines screaming. The pilot pulled back on the stick, and the jet climbed into the sky. He turned to face the enemy, and the two aircrafts hurtled towards each other. The pilot fired his guns, and the sky was filled with tracers. The enemy aircraft returned fire, and the two jets traded blows. The pilot's jet was hit, but he kept flying. He closed in on the enemy aircraft, and a moment later, his guns scored a hit. The enemy aircraft exploded in a ball of fire, and the pilot cheered. He turned his jet around and headed back to base. He had survived the dogfight, and he had won. He was a hero.
