1. Cut out the fabric pieces. You will need to cut out two pieces of fabric for the doll's body, two pieces for the head, and four pieces for the arms and legs. The size of the pieces will depend on the size of the doll you want to make. 2. Sew the body together. With right sides together, sew the two pieces of fabric for the body together along the side seams. Leave the top open for turning. 3. Turn the body right side out. Carefully turn the body right side out, using a point turner or other blunt object to help push out the corners. 4. Stuff the body. Stuff the body with wadding or stuffing until it is firm. 5. Sew the head together. With right sides together, sew the two pieces of fabric for the head together along the side seams. Leave the top open for turning. 6. Turn the head right side out. Carefully turn the head right side out, using a point turner or other blunt object to help push out the corners. 7. Sew the head to the body. With right sides together, sew the head to the body along the neck seam. 8. Add the arms and legs. Sew the arms and legs to the body in the desired position. 9. Add the safety eyes. Sew or glue the safety eyes to the doll's head. 10. Add embellishments. Add any desired embellishments to the doll, such as buttons, beads, lace, etc. 11. Enjoy your new doll! Your magnificent doll is now complete and ready to be enjoyed for years to come.
