The detective carefully collected all of the evidence, including the knife that had been used to kill the victim. He then interviewed the witnesses. They all had different stories to tell, but the detective was able to piece together the events that had led up to the murder. He learned that the victim had been arguing with someone before he was killed, and he had a good idea who that someone was. The detective finally put all of the clues together and solved the mystery. He arrested the killer and brought him to justice. The detective had done his job, and the city was safe once again.
