The Golden Ball's Journey In a vast desert, a golden ball rolled along. It was a beautiful ball, but it was also very lonely. All the other balls were afraid of it, because it was so different. They thought it was a monster. The golden ball didn't understand why the other balls were afraid of it. It just wanted to be friends. So, it kept rolling along, hoping to find someone who would accept it. One day, the golden ball came to a cactus forest. The cacti were all very spiky, and the golden ball was afraid. But it kept rolling, and eventually, it found a clearing. In the clearing, there was a small, brown ball. The brown ball was not afraid of the golden ball. It rolled up to the golden ball and said, "Hello." The golden ball was so happy to finally have a friend. It told the brown ball all about its journey, and the brown ball listened patiently. When the golden ball was finished, the brown ball said, "I'm glad I met you. I've always been afraid of the other balls, but I'm not afraid of you. You're my friend." The golden ball smiled. It had finally found a friend.
