Use the moon's gravity to deflect incoming asteroids away from your path. The moon's gravity is strong enough to pull asteroids off course, so if you can use it to your advantage, you can avoid being hit by an asteroid. To do this, you need to position your ship so that the moon is between you and the asteroid. The moon's gravity will then pull the asteroid away from you and towards the moon. This will not destroy the asteroid, but it will remove it from your path and prevent it from hitting you.
