The princess, Mulan, was getting ready for a party. Her best friend was having a birthday, and everyone in town was invited. The party was going to be in the evening, but Mulan was in despair. Her maidservant was sick, and Mulan didn't know how she would get ready without her help. Mulan's parents tried to comfort her, but she was too upset. She cried and cried, begging them to find someone else to help her. Finally, her father had an idea. He told Mulan that she would have to do her own hair and makeup. Mulan was horrified, but she knew that her father was right. She had to learn how to take care of herself if she wanted to be a princess. Mulan went to her room and started working on her hair. She washed it and then applied shampoo. She used her hands to spread the shampoo throughout her hair, and then she washed it again. She used hairspray to add more fragrance to her hair. Finally, she cut her hair using scissors. Mulan was finally ready for the party. She combed her hair and put on her makeup. She looked beautiful, and she knew that her best friend would be impressed. Mulan had learned a valuable lesson that day. She had learned that she was capable of taking care of herself, and that she didn't need anyone else to help her. She was a strong and independent woman, and she was ready to face anything that came her way.
