Play
The young princess, dressed in her finest gown and jewels, sat on a swing in the palace gardens. She looked like a picture, but she was bored. She longed to run and play like the other children, but she knew that she couldn't. She had to be proper and ladylike. Suddenly, an idea came to her. She would sneak out of the palace and go to the playground! She could change into some more comfortable clothes and have some fun. She slipped out of the palace and made her way to the playground. She found a secluded spot and changed into her old clothes. Then, she ran and played until she was exhausted. When she was finally tired, she went back to the palace and changed back into her fine clothes. She went to her room and looked at herself in the mirror. She smiled. She had finally found a way to be both a princess and a child.
