Rainy Days Rainy days can be a drag, but not for these two friends. They found plenty of ways to entertain themselves on the pond behind their house. They spent hours collecting lotus flowers, sailing toy boats, and watching the ducks and frogs. The first thing they did was to gather up some lotus flowers. They loved the way the flowers looked in the rain, and they couldn't resist picking them. They took turns holding the flowers up to their noses and smelling their sweet scent. After they had picked all the flowers they could find, they decided to build a boat. They found a piece of wood and some sticks, and they used them to make a simple raft. They then filled the raft with water and set it sailing on the pond. The boat was a lot of fun to watch, and the two friends spent hours watching it bob up and down on the waves. They even tried to race each other, but the boat was too slow to go very fast. When they got tired of playing with the boat, they decided to look for some frogs. They found a few hiding under the lily pads, and they were able to catch them with their bare hands. The frogs were very slippery, but the two friends managed to hold on to them. They took the frogs back to their house and put them in a bucket. They watched the frogs for a while, and then they let them go. The frogs hopped away happily, and the two friends were glad that they had been able to help them. The two friends had a lot of fun on the rainy day. They learned that even when the weather is bad, there are still ways to have fun.
