Use the star () to your advantage! It can be used to represent any letter, so you can use it to form words that you wouldn't otherwise be able to. Longer words are worth more points, so try to form as many long words as possible. Green letters are worth double points, so use them whenever you can! If you're stuck, try using the hint button. It will give you a clue about what word you should form. Can you save the hamster from the snakes?
