The new version, called "Space Invaders: Classical Edition," features an original score by composer Austin Wintory. Wintory, who is known for his work on the video game soundtracks for "Assassin's Creed" and "The Banner Saga," said that he was inspired to create a classical soundtrack for Space Invaders because he wanted to "bring a sense of beauty and majesty to the game." "Space Invaders is a classic game that has been enjoyed by generations of players," Wintory said. "I wanted to create a soundtrack that would honor the game's legacy while also adding something new and exciting." The "Space Invaders: Classical Edition" soundtrack is available now on all major streaming platforms.
